Birmingham born Dr Ethan qualified as a doctor last year making him one of the youngest doctors in the UK and is fast becoming one of the most well known doctors around the world with many of his social media videos going viral.
Back in 2016 when Ethan first attended medical school Ethan wanted to give an insight into a busy and exciting medical career therefore began sharing informative, educational and fun content on social media. This became hugely successful and through the documenting of his medical school journey, Ethan amassed 50+ million views. He became the most followed medical student in the world and a leading figure in health education.
When the COVID-19 pandemic emerged in late 2019, false information became prevalent across social media and the internet. Ethan used TikTok to combat this misinformation. Ethan provided engaging and interactive, short-form content to people across the world. This grew into a worldwide phenomenon and to date Ethan has over 3 million likes on this platform alone. As his platform has grown, Doctor Ethan has continued to spread his primary message: ‘That medicine should be fun, exciting and interactive and not something we should be afraid of.’ Fast forward to today, Doctor Ethan has become a global education platform and one of the leading medical creators of his era. All at the age of only 23!
